“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to the prayers. Then fear came over everyone, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as anyone had a need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with a joyful and humble attitude, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved”
Our male and female small group leaders will host a weekly virtual gathering aimed at giving participants an opportunity to dive deeper into the sermon preached on Sunday. Scripture instructs us to not just be hearers of the word, but to be doers also. Men’s and women’s small groups give us a space to unpack the sermons and to glean actionable responses to the messages preached on Sundays.
Those who participate in men’s and women’s small group can expect three things:
- TO BE KNOWN– In a church our size, it is easy to be a regular attender who is yet to build meaningful relationships within the church.
- TO BE CARED FOR– Small groups will provide an opportunity for us to serve one another well.
- TO BE LOVINGLY CHALLENGED TO FOLLOW JESUS MORE WHOLEHEARTEDLY– we will actively encourage one another to put the word of God into action.
There are options available each evening of the week; Sunday through Thursday. There is a weekend option available on Saturday morning each week.
Small groups will officially begin on the week of October 25th and will run for 5 consecutive weeks, excluding the week of thanksgiving.
